HABITABLE

How it Works

The Micro-credentials Certification Centre (MIC) offers a simple and flexible process to validate your competences and obtain a micro-credential.

Whether you are a learner, a professional or a trainer, you can follow a clear step-by-step pathway to demonstrate your skills and receive recognition.

Step-by-step process

Step 1
Explore available micro-credentials

Browse the Micro-credentials Directory and identify the micro-credentials that match your profile, interests and career goals.

Step 2
Select a micro-credential

Access the detailed description and review its content, including learning outcomes, level, workload and relevance to your professional pathway.

Step 3
Review requirements

Make sure you are familiar with the competences covered and, where applicable, with the related training programme or course.

Step 4
Complete the assessment

Start the validation process by completing the online questionnaire designed to assess your knowledge and competences.

Step 5
Receive your result

Once you complete the assessment, your responses are evaluated and you will receive your result.

Step 6
Obtain your micro-credential

If you successfully meet the required learning outcomes, you will be awarded the micro-credential. All micro-credentials are issued by the Habitat Sector Skills Certification Alliance and promoted by the organisation that developed them.
